Claire is a B.Ed Hons graduate of Chelsea School of Human Movement, Brighton Uni and was a PE teacher for 20 years and Head of Year for 5 years. She has maintained her participation in sports, exercise and fitness, and completed the teacher training for Pilates with Body Control.
Claire first qualified in Sports massage therapy in 2005, treating athletic, badminton, football and kayaking teams in Surrey. She developed her skills and was selected to participate in the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics as a sports massage therapist. Again, for the Glasgow 2014 and Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Claire is an Advanced Myofascial Release therapist. She began her training in 2008 gaining instruction from both Ruth Duncan and John Barnes. She specializes in sports injuries, scar release and women’s health.
Claire has also studied human biomechanics relating to the correction of walking and movement throughout the body. This she combines with her movement and teaching background to assist with rehabilitation guidance.
